The Syamantaka Jewel
A Yadava noble who has exercised the lifelong worshipped or
Surya is blessed by the sun god’s presence. Surya offers the noble, named Satrajit,
a boon. Satrajit replies that he would like blindingly radiant the Syamantaka
jewel that hangs around Surya’s neck. The sun god grants Satrajit the jewel.
Each day, the jewel grants the owner gold as well as protection from fire,
famine, or wild beasts by its light. The noble returned to Dwarka with it where
he was met with envy from the townspeople as well as Krishna. Krishna expressed
to Satrajit that the jewel should rest upon a king. In fear of losing it, the
noble gave it to an evil cousin who died because of its enhancing powers of fortune.
A lion killed the evil cousin. The lion was then killed by a bear, who took the
jewel.
In the meantime, rumors became to rotate that Krishna had
killed the evil cousin. Krishna found the bear and fought back for the jewel,
then returned it to Dwarka and Satrajit. The noble then offered his daughter to
Krishna in return. This caused jealousy among other nobles who killed Satrajit
and took the jewel. The jewel continued to cause havoc through jealousy until
it was finally bestowed to Akura, who bore it to protect Dwarka.
Adventures of Balarama and Pradyumna
Balarama gets drunk on goddess wine, molests the Yamuna
river until he can bathe in a pool of her water at the spot that he drank the
wine.
Pradyumna, eldest son of Krishna and Rukmani, is stolen,
thrown into the ocean, rescued, hidden, and returned as a man back to Rukmani
after killing the demon who tried to kill him as a baby.
Following festivities of the marriage of Pradyumna, Balarama
gets pissed during a dice game, gets risky raising stakes, wins, and then
cracks the skull of his competition, Rukmi, after he refuses to pay up.
Naraka and Bana
Krishna and Indra kick Muru’s butt. Then they kick Naraka’s
butt.
Enter Bana. Bana was a staunch worshipper of Shiva. Shiva
granted Bana the boon of ruling the earth. Krishna still kicks his butt and
gains two princesses, Aniruddha and Usha.
Nriga and Paundrika
Cursed chameleon man is stuck in a well. Krishna saves him by
pulling him out and he turns into a handsome man named king Nriga.
A proud king who is not Vishnu incarnate, begins to claim he
is. Krishna is pissed. He shears the head off the imposter with his discus.
The imposter’s son decides he must avenge his dad, so he
asks Shiva for help. Shiva grants the help, but Krishna still kicks his butt.
Deaths of Jarasandha and Shishupala
The Pandavas! Shishupala is still pissed about losing
Rukmani to Krishna. He talks down to Krishna in front of the Pandavas, Krishna
and Bhishma try to keep it calm, but Shishupala escalates. Krishna uses his
discus to kick his butt.
The Passing of Krishna
Balarama passes into his original serpent form. Krishna is
shot in the foot innocently by a hunter. Dwarka is buried by the sea.
